Even though our winter starts a little late here in Florida, I thought it’d be great to share my winter must-haves. I love putting together outfits in winter because comfort (and warmth) always comes first. Here are my picks:

Big coats & tees– I love to start my hunt for a good quality, oversized coat in the fall. Layering will be a must, and oversized tees will definitely come in handy as well. I try to stay close to neutral colors, but feel free to get creative with a houndstooth print coat!

Leggings– I always stock up on extra leggings for the winter! They’re comfortable, can keep me warm if I decide to wear baggy joggers, and if the weather isn’t too frigid I can wear them under an oversized tee and coat with some big boots 😉

Moisturizer– Cold weather means dry skin! Keep your skin hydrated to avoid dry patches, redness, and itchiness. I love using Lush and Aveenos brands 🙂 they’re not as harsh on my sensitive skin.

Scarves– Need I say more? You can never have too many scarves and you can either keep it simple, or get an attention grabbing print/color. Sometimes just layering a scarf on will pull an outfit together from messy to chic.

Hair/skin/nail vitamins– This is a big one for me because during winter I feel that my skin gets duller and my hair as well. These vitamins are a life-saver when you take them consistently! You can find affordable brands on Amazon and Walmart, just make sure to check the reviews 🙂

Boots– I live in boots year-round, no kidding. But for those who don’t, get yourself a pair for winter! Heels are cute and everything, but won’t do much for you when the temperature is dropping. My fave are ankle booties since they’re super versatile in Florida.

Gloves– Suede gloves are amazing, and timeless. There’s just something about slipping on a pair that makes me feel as if I’m channeling Holly Golightly.

Statement Necklaces– These come in handy during winter since my wardrobe will consist of many sweaters and high neck shirts. The statement necklace helps in adding something extra to a regular sweater and jeans outfit.

I tried to keep this list as light as possible, but I’d love to know what are some of your winter must-haves? Leave a comment below!! xx
